Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how DocLink ("DocLink," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit doclink.co (the "Site") or contact us. It applies to the Site only. Services we provide to client practices are also governed by our agreements with those practices.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you complete our contact form, email us or book a strategy call, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, role, email address, phone number, practice name, specialty, location and message. This form is intended for physicians and practice staff and should not be used to send patient information.

If you become a client, we also collect professional information about your practice and its physicians (for example, training, services, office hours and insurance plans accepted) to build your practice profile and campaigns, along with billing information needed to invoice you.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and the referring page. We use this to operate and secure the Site and to understand, in aggregate, how pages are used.

Physician profile pages

Pages under doclink.co/doctor/ describe our client physicians and their practices. Appointment booking from these pages takes place on the practice's own scheduling system or by phone, under that practice's privacy practices. DocLink does not collect health information through these pages. We count visits and clicks on booking and call buttons in aggregate to report campaign performance to the practice.

2. How we use information

• To respond to inquiries and schedule strategy calls
• To provide, manage and report on services for client practices
• To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site
• To send business communications you have requested or that relate to our services; you can opt out of marketing emails at any time
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

3. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only:

• With service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as website hosting and form processing, scheduling, email and customer relationship tools, under terms that limit their use of the information
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of DocLink, our clients or others
• In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy

4. Third-party content

The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, and physician profile pages may display an embedded Google Map. These services may receive your IP address and browser information when the content loads. Links to third-party sites, including practices' scheduling systems, are governed by those sites' own policies.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Retention

We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, to maintain business records and to meet legal obligations, and then delete or de-identify it.

8. Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information you have given us, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message. To make a request, email hello@doclink.co.

9. Children

The Site is intended for healthcare professionals and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
